Your Liver and Detoxification
The liver is responsible for taking these toxins and "preparing" them for elimination. Most harmful toxins are not water soluble and can't simply leave the body unless the liver packages them for delivery out of the body. The liver goes through two very important steps in preparing toxins to be eliminated. The first step is to package the toxins (Phase I) and the second is to attach the toxins with a friendly amino acid (Phase II) to enable elimination.
If the liver does not have the necessary resources available (vitamins, amino acids, etc.), detoxification will come to a screeching halt. Liver Cleanse provides strong antioxidant and herbal support for the liver to remain healthy during the cleansing process.
Signs of liver overload include:
3. Chronic Allergies
4. Chemical Sensitivities
5. Neurological Dysfunction
6. Skin Problems (Eczema and Psoriasis)
Aceva® Liver Cleanse is a unique, liver-protective formulation designed to maximize detoxification.
The Powerful Effects of Silymarin For Enhanced Health
Silymarin is a unique flavonoid complex known for being a potent antioxidant, a liver protector and an anticancer agent.1 There has been hundreds of studies completed on this complex and it is approved in the German Commission E which is the most accurate information available on the safety and efficacy of herbs) as a complementary treatment for liver conditions such as cirrhosis, hepatitis, and fatty infiltration.2
Silymarin is used to:
Helps in the regeneration of liver cells compromised from drugs and alcohol
Stimulates bile for through the liver and gallbladder, reducing stagnation and preventing stagnation and gallstone formation. (Liver Decongestant)
IPrevents liver damage from drugs such as acetaminophen and tetracycline3
mproves the survival rate of patients with cirrhosis4
Supports the treatment of viral hepatitis5
How does silymarin work?
Silymarin controls free radicals that can damage cells exposed to toxins. It is said to be at least ten times more potent of an antioxidant than Vitamin E.6,7,8
It may increase glutathione by more than 35% in the liver.9 Glutathione detoxifies a wide variety of hormones, drugs and chemicals and with a higher level of glutathione, the liver has a higher capacity for detoxification.
Silymarin also increases the level of the important antioxidant enzyme superoxide dismutase in cell cultures.10
Silymarin has the ability to increase protein synthesis in the liver which results in an increase in the production of new liver cells to replace the damaged ones.11
Silymarin can reduce the formation of inflammatory mediators.12
